Last night I watched an extremely interesting video all about raw & living foods, superfoods, super herbs, and living spring water. It occurred to me that the word “superfoods” get tossed around in this space a lot and some people might not realize just how “super” they are.

Superfoods are a class of the most potent, super-concentrated, & nutrient-rich foods on the planet. They have the ability to tremendously increase the vital force & energy of ones body & are the optimum choice for improving overall health — boosting the immune system, elevating serotonin production, enhancing sexuality, cleansing, lowering inflammation, and alkalizing the body. •

Something as simple as cacao is one of the highest antioxidant foods on the planet — higher than green tea & red wine. It improves cardiovascular health, supports strong bones, elevates your mood, and may help to increase longevity. Hazelnut Mocha Chip Cookies 🍪
6 tbsp hazelnut butter
1/4 cup date syrup (or maple)
3 tbsp @shopkarenberrios cacao powder
2 tbsp mocha coffee (I used @beforeyouspeakcoffee but you can also sub more cacao powder)
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup almond flour
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350F. In a bowl mix hazelnut butter, syrup, and cacao powder/mocha. Then add eggs one at a time until combined. With rubber spatula mix vanilla, almond flour, and chocolate chips. Scoop onto cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes! Enjoy!
